No-frills beachside 3* accommodation nestled in the total privacy of 46-acres of lush grounds in beautiful Batteaux Bay. A haven for bird watchers due to the Blue Waters Inn's proximity to the rain forest and Little Tobago. Also deservedly popular with divers, with some of Tobago's best diving on the hotel's doorstep.

The hotel won an award for Best Eco Resort for 2002 from Caribbean World Magazine.

The Blue Waters Inn is a great place to stop for refreshments while touring the north of the Island. It has long been our favourite watering hole when travelling to or from Charlotteville.

From the deep blue of the Atlantic, to the golden sandy beach of Batteaux Bay, to the brilliant green of our lush hills - this is Blue Waters Inn. We offer Tobago's finest hiking and birdwatching. Be awakened by a symphony of birds celebrating the birth of a new day.

Curious Manta Rays, richly overgrown coral reefs, hordes of friendly fish and highly impressive drift dives - Aquamarine Dive Limited, our on-site dive operation, offers easy access to Tobago's most unique dive adventures, with our finest sites only minutes from your doorstep.

HOTEL TYPE: Beachfront Low-Rise Resort Hotel tucked away in it's own secluded bay amongst 46 acres of lush tropical grounds.

LOCATION: Approximately 20 miles (1 hour by Taxi) from Scarborough, Tobago's capital, and 27 miles (1 hour 15 minutes by Taxi) from Crown Point International Airport

ROOMS: A total of 38 rooms. These include 3 Bungalows with either 1 or 2 air conditioned bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, and a large porch, 4 self catering apartments with either 1 or 2 bedrooms, and 31 standard SINGLE/DOUBLE rooms. All of our rooms face the Ocean and have a private shower/wc, ceiling fans and a balcony or porch.

All rooms have been recently re-decorated and now include Air Conditioning at no extra charge.

HANDICAPPED: We offer rooms to our physically challenged guests. These rooms have hand held showers, shower chairs, shower rails, and toilet rails. Physically challenged guests can go from one end of our property to the next in wheelchairs if necessary, via our walkways which are suited for this purpose

RESTAURANT: "THE FISH POT RESTAURANT" specializes in Seafood. We also serve Caribbean and International cuisine with a local flair.

BAR: "THE SHIPWRECK BAR" offers a wide variety of Exotic Caribbean and International cocktails.

RECREATION ROOM/TV ROOM/CONFERENCE ROOM: This area is used as a recreation room with Satellite Television, Video's, Board Games, and a full library with numerous volumes in different languages. The room also doubles as a Mini Conference facility, from which we offer the full range of Audio Visual equipment, and cater to approximately 40 persons. This room is fully air-conditioned.

E-mail and Internet services are also available at a minimal charge.

BEACH: Our bay is known as Batteaux Bay (Boat Bay) - a private, sheltered horseshoe shaped bay with a golden sandy beach approximately 1000 feet long. The swimming is safe here year-round. There is fantastic snorkeling and scuba diving right off of our beach.

SPORTS: Marine: We are a full service P.A.D.I. (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) International Gold Palm (5 Star) Resort and Training Facility, at present the only P.A.D.I. International Gold Palm Resort and Training Facility on the Island. Our in-house dive operator is "AQUAMARINE DIVE LTD.", the only dive facility on Tobago that utilizes our own 180 foot private dock for our divers to easily board our dive boats. We also offer kayaking, fishing and glass bottom boat tours. Land: For those who are looking for a relaxing game, we have a lighted "Activities Court" for tennis, basketball, soccer, and table tennis. There are also trails nearby for jogging, walking, etc. Golf, Squash, and Horseback Riding are also available on Tobago.

Health Services, at minimal extra costs, now include Aromatherapy Massage, Manicure and Pedicure treatments.

NATURE: A nature lovers paradise with 46 acres of lush tropical grounds. We are directly across from Little Tobago (Bird of Paradise Island), Tobago's largest bird sanctuary, which is approximately a ten minute boat ride away. St. Giles island, which is the southern Caribbean's largest seabird colony is approximately 30 minutes by boat, and Tobago's lush main ridge forest is approximately 30 minutes by car.
