Air Services / Ferry: Getting to Tobago
A detailed guide to air routes from the UK, mainland Europe and North America and the T&T Ferry
With the exception of cruise line passengers, who might stop in Scarborough port for a few hours, visitors and holidaymakers are most likely to arrive in Tobago by air service, either direct or via Port Of Spain in Trinidad, or possibly by the inter-island ferry from Port Of Spain.
Air Travel
There are still very few direct flights to Tobago's Crown Point International Airport (airport TAB). Fortunately, Trinidad's Piarco International Airport (POS) benefits from a wide range of regional and international flights. A regular airbridge service handles the 25-minute transfer between the two islands. A frequent inter-island air-bridge service transports passengers between the twin islands and the inter-island ferry service will be of interest to some travellers.
The following map shows all current long-haul routes into Trinidad and Tobago. Click on any of the cities shown to see further information and help you in your search for cheap air fares to Trinidad and Tobago. Hold your mouse pointer over any other country or region to see a summary of services from that location.
The above map has been substantially condensed in width for illustrative purposes.
The Atlantic Ocean therefore looks very much narrower than is actually the case.
