Interactive satellite and road maps of Tobago
The maps used thoughout myTobago are based on mapping data from Google. The satellite images are not of the highest resolution and are somewhat out of date, but they still offer distinct advantages over static maps. Sadly, satellite images are not yet available for those areas of Tobago east of Scaroborough.
The biggest advantage of the Google mapping is that it allows us to provide map overlays showing the location of various features.
Users who have downloaded Google Earth can download our marker set here. The Markers and information are being updated on a constant basis. We therefore strongly recommend that you never save and use the current marker set for more than a few days. Please be patient if you have a slow Internet connection - with nearly 600 locations, the markers can be slow to download.
Markers are matched to the location on the satellite image. Road map overlays do not always match the satellite image. Consequently, markers may appear to be out of position in map view.
