Cafe Coco Pigeon Point Road, Crown Point Tel: 639-0996 Under same ownership as Coco Reef Resort, this is Tobago's largest restaurant. Wonderful decor totally out of character with simplicity of menu. Dillon's Seafood Restaurant Milford Road, Crown Point Tel: 639-8765 Once an institution, Dillons reputation has slipped in recent years. However, management has been taken over by the owner's daughter and reports are very encouraging. Sadly, we didn't have the opportunity to try it during our 2008 trip. However, from what we hear, it could well be worth a visit. Open Monday to Friday from 6pm. | ![]() |
Kariwak Village Restaurant Store Bay Local Road, Crown Point Tel: 639-8442 Most reports are good, but I've haven't found it the most welcoming of places. They are justifiably proud of their home-grown spices and herbs. Open every day from 7:15am for breakfast, lunch and dinner. | ![]() |
La Cantina off Pigeon Point Road La Cantina opened in July 2007. Owned and run by Stefano Monti (ex La Terrazza) the new restaurant is a quality eat-in/take-out Pizzaria, serving more than 30 types of authentic Italian pizza, salads and panini, etc. The restaurant is located next to (left of) the RBTT Bank between the Coco Reef Resort and Pigeon Point Road, and is open daily, except Wednesdays, from 6-10pm. | ![]() |
Steak & Lobster Bar Sandy Point Village, Crown Point Tel: 639-8533 Small sea-side restaurant at the Sandy Point Village apartment hotel - an establishment of poor reputation. | ![]() |
Surf N' Turf Pigeon Point Road, Crown Point Tel: 631-8840 It is hardly surprising to find that the new Surf N' Turf restaurant specialises in steak and seafood. Conveniently located just a few hundred metres down Pigeon Point Road (on the left, at the first junction), this restaurant is undoubtedly going to be one to watch and knowing the high standards of the owner, we are prepared to recommend it even before our first visit. | ![]() |
Tamaras Restaurant Coco Reef Resort, Crown Point Tel: 639-8571 Good food. Reasonably romantic setting, if you don't mind a "large" restaurant setting. Expensive - as all hotel restaurants tend to be (they have to add additional resort taxes). | ![]() |
W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G. Pigeon Point Road, Crown Point Tel: 631-8774 'What You See Is What You Get', or W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G. for short, opened in October 2007 in the extensively refurbished Pigeon Point Road premises previous occupied by Latitude 11 and Panache Creole. The lunchtime menu features a range of tasty local favourites, plus salads and lighter dishes. The evening service is buffet-based. | ![]() |

Bago's Beach Bar Pigeon Point Road Tel: 631-8487 Bago's Beach Bar is an interesting little beach bar restaurant set in the idyllic location on the beach at Pigeon Point. The bar is open from 10am to 7pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Mixed crowd and very popular with the local "ex-pat" community. | ![]() |
Bamboo Mile Main Road, Bon Accord Tel: 631-8484 The Bamboo Mile is a new ‘casual-plus’ open-air bar and grill located next to the Mt.Pleasant Credit Union and just before the Fortune Chinese Restaurant on the main Milford Road in Bon Accord. The varied menu offers a wide range of Caribbean dishes with International influences. They bake their own bread and focaccias daily. Open from 4:00pm till late. Closed Tuesdays. | ![]() |
Block 22 Restaurant & Bar Main Road, Canaan Small local bar/cafe. No reports. | ![]() |
Cafe Iguana Store Bay Local Road, C.Point Tel: 631-8205 We have NO confidence in this establishment. It is not one that we shall re-visit. Definitely not an establishment that we can recommend. | ![]() |
Colours Restaurant & Bar Pigeon Point Junction, Crown Point Tel: 631-8184 Part-owned by the entertaining owner of the Black Rock Cafe, now closed. Reports are very mixed, but the place is a popular drinking hole with the 'ex-pat' community. | ![]() |
Fortune Chinese Restaurant Main Road, Bon Accord I was highly amused by the comment "If you want to eat good Chinese food in Tobago, go to Trinidad". Open Mon-Sat 11am-11pm. | ![]() |
Golden Star Restaurant Pigeon Point Junction Tel: 639-0873 Stand by to be hustled in off the street. A visitor commented "bad food, bad service, bad attitude". A generally down-market establishment with a poor reputation, but offering a lively "scene". Watch out for the "hidden" surcharge of 25% (VAT and Service) added to the final bill, but not mentioned on the menus. Open daily from 7am. | ![]() |
Green Lime Milford Road, Canaan Local "entertainment" centre, just before the junction with the Shirvan Road. Entertainment most evenings. Local lunches. A few pool tables. Blaring music. Very popular with locals, both young and old, and a few adventurous tourists. | ![]() |
House of Pancakes Milford Road, Bon Accord Open for breakfast from 7am to 12:30pm. Specialist breakfast. Highly praised by visitors and locals alike. A definite 'must', as long as you accept that service will be VERY slow. | ![]() |

Nu Coast Restaurant & Bar Spence Hol Resort, S/Bay Local Rd No reports. | ![]() |
Patsy's Diner Store Bay Local Road, Crown Point Small local diner opposite the Crown Beach Hotel. Sadly, Patsy passed away in late 2004, but the diner is now being run by her daughter, who owns and runs the small shop next door. Not open every night, but reports have been positive. | ![]() |
Pelican Reef Milford Road, Crown Point Tel: 639-8000 Quite popular. Regular entertainment. Food (international) reasonable, but in many ways more of a drinking/meeting place to enjoy the entertainment. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am until late. | ![]() |

Both local and international cuisine is offered and they pride themselves on "good home cooking". | ![]() |
The Shade Bon Accord A new bar and restaurant in Bon Accord. A very "happening" place that has rapidly become the hottest spot and main pick-up joint on the island. However, its reputation is as bad as it gets. Murder, muggings and an arson attack. See our Nightlife article for more details. Visitors are strongly advised to avoid this place, particularly after 11pm on a Friday evening. | ![]() |
Tristar Restaurant Airport Terminal, C/Point Airport A snack bar/cafe located in the terminal building, directly opposite the arrivals/departures area. It may not be the most romantic of venues, but prices are reasonable and quality decent although the staff could do with so customer service training. | ![]() |
